I am not a football fan. I’ve never really understood it. They only time you’ll ever catch me watching a game is during the superbowl, and that’s only because there is always really yummy food (I LOVE to eat) and I look forward to the funny commercials and always hold out hope that there might be some hilariously rigged “wardrobe malfunction” during the crazy halftime show. I just don’t find it entertaining and I think it’s kind of silly. There. I said it. I’ll expect your declarations of war in the morning. That being said, I was asked to do a Broncos themed nursery. Well, crap! I know nothing about the Broncos except that I just can’t really stand the logo. I think the NFL should hire some new designers for all these logos. Then, maybe, I’d start watching…maybe. I do, however, really like the old school logos. Now those are cool. There is a vintage whimsy to them that just gets me giddy! I used them as my inspiration for the nursery. The old logos have softer colors that lend themselves nicely to a baby boy’s room. So without further ado, here is my take on a Broncos Nursery. Hope you Enjoy!
I found the logos online, printed them on legal size paper, and matted and framed them in orange painted frames. Aren’t they awesome??
I painted the existing dresser in a soft orange. It balances really well with the blue striped wall and makes for a great statement piece.
A play space in the nook gives him space to crawl, read and play on a soft, bright orange rug.
So, all you football fans out there, did I do your team justice? I have to say, I’m very pleased with the outcome 🙂
